This song was written by one of Third Day's former members (Brad Avery) in 2006. He wrote it when him and his family were in the process of adopting from China. They had been waiting for a few years and were so excited to meet their "little China girl". Finally, in 2007, Brad and his family got to meet their "little China girl", Canaan. This song (as most of you know) is a very special one to me and my family. We were going through that same excitement for a few years as well waiting to meet our "little China girl".
