This song is another one of my favorite Christmas songs, sung by one of my favorite singers (especially when he sings Christmas music). I love the choir of kids singing in the background, and the vocals on this song. All the harmonizing and voices put together make for a beautiful Christmas song.

I never really liked this song, until I heard this version of it. I think it is the most beautiful rendition of this song. I love the strong meaning to the song: Amidst all the hate and anger in the world, the Christmas bells ring "peace on earth". One of my favorite Christmas songs:

There really isn't a specific reason that I had to share this song or why I love it, other than that it is a very popular song that sums up a lot of Christmas all in one song. It is also one of the few Christmas songs that actually wishes you a "Merry Christmas." A lot of songs wish "Happy Holidays", or wish a "Holly Jolly Christmas", or talk about the different things people do during the Christmas season. But this song actually says "Merry Christmas to you".

This song I love because it shows that even amongst the chaos in anyone's life, Christmas can give you a chance to stop and be peaceful for even a moment, and not worry about all the stress and craziness.

My most favorite time of year is here!

 

Every year I do not count down the days til' Christmas, I count down the days til' Christmas time. I love everything about the Christmas season: holiday cheer, Christmas lights and decorations, Christmas music, presents, spending time with family, and celebrating the birth of Jesus!

 

As most of you, my blog readers, know, I do some sort of song countdown each year up to Christmas, doing something a little different for it every year.

 

This year, I will post two songs each day. One will be a spiritual song with a scripture; the other song will be a fun song.
